Twin Sister, "Spain"
I am going to see Twin Sister play in New York on Saturday and am very excited. I've been listening to them alot, especially when playing with the movement of victorian flowers and animals while collaging. I tend to watch-listen to youtube video's when i work in the wee hours of the morning. Twin Sister's video collection is often repeated. I first heard about them from Emily when she, Courtney, and I went to work in St.Louis, MS for Donnaland Vintage, playing in bales of vintage clothes like Uncle Scrooge in swimming pools of money. It's 4:12. I need to finally start laundry and working. I went thrift sopping, or what i hoped would be a fruitful thrifting revalry, but alas, t'was not to be. Everywhere i went was either closed ! ( My secret book place! I need fruit pictures!) or was completely awful. A Shit Show to be exact.....
I did go to Savers and ended up with three things:
1. A Salmon Pink "Professor's" Cardigan
2. "Visions of Caliban to Chimps and People" co-written by my main squeeze, Jane Goodall.
3. Some Weird Brown Criss-cross strapped shoes. Made in Brazil it tag says. Well Thank You.

Cutting party at my house
Both last night and earlier this evening. I just got my scissors- Ginger and Nutmeg- sharpened and was only too eager to use them to cut the 'arts out of all these old books i have. I finally started what i like to call Collage Sketching tonight. I like to stay up late with a cat on my lap, cold tea to my right-what? i forgot it was there until like 2 mins ago- and a pair of scissors in my hand. I have quite a lot of paper but you can never have too too much. I need to find some old seed and plant catalog's as well as some nature books from before the 60's. I'm running out of my staple characters..... Hope you also enjoy all my luggage filled with things as i complain i don't have enough paper.....

My collapse-able table.
i create things on a collapsable table i fished out of my attic. It falls sometimes...usually after a cat gets on it and i use that high pitched "ahhhhh" voice. My living room serves as my studio.....as least my lap is kept fairly warm....
Hey There Fella's
So I decided to create a blog to showcase my life as an unemployed,
un-art school attending artist living in the depths of a winter ridden
New England.
Oh the humanity.
Currently I am working on promoting my art work in my local areas,
and trying to not be a lazy bum and put up prints for sale on my etsy.
must not be lazy, must not be lazy, must not like warm covers and cats
and sleeping past noon....this is my mantra.
It hasn't worked yet.....
I am in the midst of trying to put together quarterly sets:
The Fall of my Unemployment has been printed.
The Winter of my unemployment is currently what i am creating.
I need more books. I need more animals.
I need, I need....a big attention span. Mine is sooo tiny, it gets stepped on by mice.
I have attached some pictures of The Fall of My Unemployment.
